Nicky Neville-Jones

Nicky Neville – Jones graduated from Monash University, Clayton with a combined Bachelor of Performing Arts (Theatre) and Bachelor of Laws in April, 2011.

Nicky was admitted as a lawyer at the Supreme Court of Victoria in October, 2011. Nicky is also admitted in the High Court of Australia.

Having completed her traineeship at a general-law law firm, prior to joining JH Legal in mid-2012, Nicky gained experience practicing in Family Law, as well as Wills & Estates, Conveyancing, Commercial and Criminal Law.

Nicky thoroughly enjoys the abundant variety of work present in Family Law, whether it be finalising a children or property matter, or both, by consent via Consent Orders or by filing an Application with the Federal Circuit or Family Court for the resolution of matters, when an agreement cannot be reached between the parties. Nicky will always endeavor to seek out the best result for her clients, while being mindful of the costs and time associated with Family Law proceedings.

Nicky also provides advice and represents clients at various Magistrates Courts around Melbourne, in relation to Family Law Intervention Order matters.

Having previously volunteered as a paralegal at Monash Oakleigh Legal Service in the Family Law Assistant Program and at the Eastern Community Legal Centre, during university, Nicky is now looking to volunteer at the Women’s Legal Service Victoria.
