Karen Jones

Karen Jones was admitted to practice in 1993. Since her admission Karen has practiced primarily in the family law area, encompassing domestic relationship (de facto) and child support matters. In addition, Karen also has extensive experience in property, estate and criminal matters. Karen has volunteered for many years in the community legal centre sector and is immediate past president of the Eastern Community Legal Centre.

Patricia Hepworth

Patricia Hepworth

Patricia Hepworth was admitted to practice in 1984. Since her admission Patricia has practised primarily in the family law area, encompassing domestic relationships (de facto) and child support matters.

In addition, Patricia also has extensive experience in Wills, estate and criminal matters. Patricia is also admitted to practice in the Northern Territory and has worked for an Aboriginal Legal Service for a 12 month period.

Eliza Jones

Eliza Jones

Eliza completed her Bachelor of Laws at Monash University in 2006, graduating with Honours. Eliza previously worked at our firm as a law clerk whilst undertaking her law degree, which provided her with the extensive experience needed to ease the transition from clerk to Lawyer.

Eliza now has a broad knowledge to handle a variety of family law matters including children's issues, relocation cases, financial settlements between both married couples and de-facto partners and divorce. Eliza also undertakes the conveyancing of residential houses and units and can be consulted with respect to the recent legislative changes now dealing with de-facto property settlements.

Nicolette Bell

Nicolette Bell

Nicolette is our first point of contact at JH Legal. Nicolette completed Business Administration Certificate 3 in 2005 and has also undertaken the Leo Cussen Institute Conveyancing course. Whilst undertaking employment at our firm, Nicolette is undertaking part-time study for an Advanced Diploma of Business (Legal Practice) at RMIT. With a very pleasant and friendly manner, Nicolette is always very happy to assist regardless of what your matter may be.

Amanda Firth

Amanda Firth

Amanda has worked in the legal industry for 12 years. She has gained extensive knowledge in property law and specializes in conveyancing matters. Whilst undertaking employment at our firm, Amanda is undertaking part-time study for a Bachelor of Laws Degree at Deakin University.
